Skipping the back story, and old friend who hates me, Jan, told the owner of Jimmie n Sooks restaurant, Amanda that I was starting trouble with her one evening. I had made it a point to stay away from Jan because I knew she may try something like this. So Amanda approaches me and asks me to leave because I was starting trouble with Jan, and she witnessed it and watched me! My jaw dropped, I did absolutely nothing! I asked her what I did and could we discuss it. I remained completely calm, while she was very upset and agitated. She refused to discuss it with me. She became infuriated, said she was calling the police, spun around and left to make the phone call. The parking lot is regularly patrolled by the police so he was there in less than 30 seconds. I was embarrassingly escorted out before I could even find & tell my friends I had to leave. My friends were also my ride so the officer gave me a ride home, very embarrasing...though the officer was very understanding and knows Jan and understands the kind of person she is and understood my story and took pity on me.
Three months later I came back to Jimmie n Sooks. I was talking to friends, when Amanda sent a young man that works for her over to me to let me know I had to leave. I then waited for Amanda to come over so I could speak to her about it, because I never did anything the first time. She finally came over and said I was barred. I said well I wanted to talk to you about that. She said fine. I said well can we go somewhere, maybe outside or something? And she said no, not right now. And I said why not? And she said "THIS" is why and shook her hand in between us and became infuriated again and said she was calling the police again and stormed off and grabbed the phone. My friends stood there in utter shock at Amandas irate behavior! I left immediately to avoid the embarrassment of another officer escorting me out again. But he was already outside when I went outside and asked for my ID. He was extremely rude and ran my ID over the radio which in our small town means everyone with a scanner will hear and causes me even more embarrassment, and he told me if I ever come back I will be charged with trespassing!
Do I have any rights for being kicked out of a public place twice for no reason, humiliated, and embarrassed? Why does she have the right to do this? It is not her private property and I did NOTHING wrong and they are both lying. Thank you for any help.
